PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN MELALUI METODE SNOWBALL TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP SISWA SMA TENTANG HIV/AIDS DI SMA N 1 CEPER'rnrnLeni Restuningsih1, Retno Yuli H2, Marwanti3rnrnINTISARIrnLatar Belakang : Sebagian besar anak Indonesia terutama yang tinggal didaerah desa tidak tahu apa itu HIV/AIDS, penyebab, gejala, dan cara penularannya. Hanya sedikit saja yang baru mengetahui tentang penyakit itu. Dalam suatu penelitian hanya sedikit hanya satu dari tiga pelajar sekolah menengah atas di Jakarta yang mengetahui secara rinci tentang harus bagaimana menyikapi hal tersebut. Untuk itu peneliti memilih melakukan pendidikan kesehatan melalui metode snowball terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap siswa SMA tentang HIV/AIDS.rnTujuan Penelitian dan Metode Penelitian :Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental yang dilakukan secara cross sectional dan bersifat deskriptif dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan melalui metode snowball terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap siswa SMA tentang HIV/AIDS. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dengan purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 62 siswa yang duduk dibangku kelas XI IPA. Dari 62 responden dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok,yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua teknik analisa data yaitu analisa univariat dan bivariat menggunakan kendall tau.rnHasil Penelitian : Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pengetahuan siswa pada saat pretest berada pada kategori kategori cukup,yaitu (29%), dan pada saat postest berada pada kategori cukup yaitu (30,6%). Dan sikap pada saat pretest berada pada kategori cukup yaitu (48,4%), pada saat postest berada pada kategori cukup yaitu (46,8%).rnSimpulan : Ada Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan Melalui Metode Snowball Terhadap Pengetahuan dan Sikap Siswa SMA Tentang HIV/AIDS Di SMA N 1 CEPER.rnSaran : Peneliti selanjutnya seharusnya menggunakan asisten peneliti yang sesuai dengan kelompok pendidikan kesehatan melalui metode snowball.rnKata Kunci : Snowball, Pengetahuan, Sikap, HIV/AIDS.rnrnrnrnEFFECT OF HEALTH EDUCATION THROUGH SNOWBALL METHOD OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES ABOUT HIV / AIDS IN SMA N 1 CEPER.rnLeni Restuningsih1, Retno Yuli H2, Marwanti3rnrnrnABSTRACT rnBackground : Most of Indonesian children, especially those living rural areas do not know what HIV / AIDS, the causes, symptoms, and mode of transmission. Only a few are finding out about the disease. In a few studies only one of three high school students in Jakarta who know in detail about how to address this need. The researchers chose to conduct health education through the snowball method on knowledge and attitudes of high school students about HIV / AIDS.rnPurpose and Methods : This study was an experimental study conducted cross-sectional and descriptive nature with the aim to determine the effect of health education through metodesnowball the knowledge and attitudes of high school students about HIV / AIDS. The sampling in this study with purposive sampling. The samples in this study were 62 students sitting in class XI Science. Of the 62 respondents were divided into 2 groups: the experimental group and the control group. This study using two techniques, namely data analysis of univariate and bivariate using kendall tau.rn Results : The result of this study demonstrate the student’s knowledge at the time of the pretestare enough categories, namely (29%) and at the time of the posttest are enough categories namely (30,6%).
