THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN NURSE THERAPEUTIC COMMUNICATION WITH THE ANXIETY LEVEL OF PREOPERATIVE PATIENT IN WARD MELATI III RSUP Dr.SOERADJI TIRTONEGORO KLATEN HOSPITALrnrnBackground : Anxiety cald happened to the hospitalized patients. Those feeling appears when the patient diagnosed a desease or when the patient get a medical thereatment such an operation and non operations. Pre operative nursing care is a early stage of perioperative nursing. A nursing intervention be used to decrease patients anxiety, one of this is an en effective intervention and therauphetically. Nuse should give a particular time and sit on the patient on a calm situation, giving a chace to the patient to share patient feeling and listen each verbal non verbal expression with caring attention and emphaty.rnResearch objective: Determine the relationship of therauphetik communication that done by the nurse with the preperative patient is anxiety level aged 18-49 years old in ward Melati III RSUP Dr.Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten Hospital.rnResearch Design: This research is a quantitative study with descriptive analitical non experimental design. Sampling technique that used in this research is non probability sampling with accidental sampling method (N=67). Data collection conduted by giving the questionnaire sheets to the patient that accidentally met in ward Melati III RSUP Dr.Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten Hospital. Final data of this research analysis used Chi-SquarernResult : the research result showed that there are significant relationship between therauphetic communication that done by nurses to the ptient with anxiety level that would got an operation.rnConclution : Theraupetic communication is related to the decrease of the patient anxiety level.rnKeywords : theraaupetuc communication, anxiety, preoperative.rn
