RELATION SELF EFFICACY WITH FLUID INTAKE COMPLIENCE KIDNEY RENAL FAILURE PATIENT IN HEMODYALISIS KLATEN ISLAMIC HOSPITAL

Abstract

Chronic kidney failure caused by an increase in excessive fluid intake needs to be made efforts to limit and provide appropriate therapy. Efforts can be made one of them by controlling fluid intake and patient compliance in maintaining daily fluid intake. This is where the role of self-efficacy in patients is needed so that patients comply with fluid control so as to improve the quality of life. The aim is to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and compliance with fluid intake in chronic renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at the Islamic Hospital in Klaten This type of research is a quantitative study with a descriptive correlative research method. The population in this study were all patients with chronic kidney failure undergoing routine hemodialysis therapy 2x / week at the Klaten Islamic Hospital in July 2019 as many as 400 people. Chi square data analysis. Characteristics of respondents include the average age of 50.85, gender is male, education of high school respondents, the average age of HD is 1.88 years. The efficacy of HD patients in Klaten Islamic General Hospital is good as many as 45 people (56.3%) the big is obedient as many as 54 people (67.5%) There is an efficacy relationship with HD patient compliance in Klaten Islamic General Hospital with p value = 0.006
